About us

Father’s House Fellowship opened its doors for the first service in July 2004. Pastor Gennaro Russo, and his wife Lonna, retired to Florida in 1990 not knowing the Lord was not done with their ministry. Beginning with a home Bible study, Pastor went on to have church services in his home that would eventually last seven years. An anonymous envelope was left at Pastor’s house with $87.00 in it for a building fund. At that time God put it on Pastor’s heart to build a church. The property the church is built on cost much more than this small group of believers could buy.  But with God all things are possible. The price of the property was lowered by the grace of God and Pastor purchased it. Through hard work, perseverance, patience, and God’s guidance every step of the way, the church was built.

Not long after the church opened Pastor Russo had the vision to build a youth building. The building was quickly completed and is used by the many young people who attend Father’s House Fellowship, including Friday Night Youth Group. On May 17, 2015 the members of Father’s House Fellowship celebrated a debt free church when the final payment on the mortgage was completed. The Youth building had also been paid off which could only be a miracle from God. Pastor Russo was able by the grace of God to support himself all his life with his own business and never needed to take a salary. Pastor Russo’s commitment to God and the work of the ministry has left a legacy that is visible to all that know him. On May 25, 2017 the Lord took Pastor home at the age of 87. The legacy and the work that pastor began is flourishing and will continue by those whom the Lord has called and established through the teachings and foundational principles of God’s word.
